Educational theories, ideologies, and practices have influence on the quality and effectiveness

INTRODUCTION
Educational theories, ideologies, and practices have influence on the quality and effectiveness of a curriculum. In this task, you will select a curriculum for a specific content and grade or level. You will then determine the learning theories and ideologies that inform its design and the extent to which the curriculum adheres to the principles of design. You will then outline a plan for evaluating your chosen curriculum using the context, input, process, and product (CIPP) evaluation model.
REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. The similarity report that is provided when you submit your task can be used as a guide.
You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.
Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).

1. Describe the curriculum, including the following:
• title
• source or creator
• content area
• grade or level
• goal(s) or objective(s)
2. Discuss how well the curriculum adheres to two design principles (i.e., scope, relevance, balance, integration, sequence, continuity, articulation, transferability). Include one example from the curriculum for each design principle to support your discussion.
3. Discuss the ideology (e.g., scholar academic, social efficiency, learner-centered, social reconstruction) most apparent in the design of the curriculum. Include two examples from the curriculum to support your discussion.

4. Discuss the learning theory (i.e., behaviorism, constructivism, cognitivism) most apparent in the design of the curriculum. Include two examples from the curriculum to support your discussion.
a. Discuss how the learning theory from part A4 helps support the goal(s) or objective(s) of the curriculum.
B. Using the CIPP evaluation model, outline a plan for evaluating the curriculum from part A by doing the following:
Context
1. Determine a need or problem you wish to address by using the curriculum.
Input
2. Discuss two components of the curriculum that address the need or problem from part B1.
3. Discuss the information or resources you will gather in order to evaluate the curriculum.
Process
4. Discuss the process you will follow to implement the curriculum.
5. Discuss the process you will follow to monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum.
Product
6. Discuss how you will determine whether the curriculum ultimately met the need or problem from part B1.
7. Discuss how you will make decisions about the curriculum based on the determination from part B6.
C. Acknowledge sources, using APA-formatted in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.
