Paper: Each group will prepare ONE paper approximately 5-6 pages (not including title, abstract page, Reference list) which should include:
I. Criteria
1. A reference page with at least two scholarly journal articles within the past 5 years related to the indicator (in APA format) (4 pt)
2. Appropriate level grammar, spelling and APA style writing (5 pts)
II. A description of the general domain
1. Objective (2 pts)- To identify reasons (disparities) that impact the maternal mortality rates of African American women vs White women.
2. Demographics – Who is affected/impacted? (2 pts)- African American, and White women.
3. Describe and Evaluate the Data (2pts)- Where to locate the data? Looking at quantitative data.
4. Describe the effect on health care within the population of the United States. (2 pts)
5. Describe the effect on nursing care/delivery of care. (2 pts)
