Modern slavery can occur in every industry and has severe consequences for its victims. Modern slavery undercuts responsible business and can pose significant legal and reputational risks to entities.
Decision makers have a responsibility to respect human rights in business operations including (where applicable) supply chains, as outlined in the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. This includes taking steps to assess and address modern slavery risks.
